Born February 1, 1893, in the Town of Hume, she was the daughter of Albert and Eulalia GARDNER HAMER. On July 12, 1909, in Fillmore, she married Ernest MILLER, who died in 1955.. Surviving are four sons, Harold MILLER of Freedom, Harmon MILLER of Fillmore, Albert MILLER of Castile and Claude MILLER of Perry; three daughters, Mrs. Lavern (Mable) SHERWOOD of Franklinville, Mrs. Melvin (Maxine) SLOCUM of Caneadea, and Mrs. Alfred (Marjorie) MEYERS of Delevan; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, a step-sister, Mrs. Milton WHEELER of Angelica; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Kopler Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Saturday. Funeral services will be held there Sunday, June 15, 1969, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Richard REED, minister of the Higgins Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Alger Cemetery, Town of Hume.
