I have been piecing together my family tree and have run into a few road blocks. One is Melvin Hall and his parentage. I know Melvin was born about 1841 in Franklinville Township, Allegany Couty, NY and married Eliza Jane VanGorder. Any information you can share about the VanGorders would be helpful and appreciated.
