Born June 16, 1920, at Rushford, she was a daughter of Frank B. and Eva I. CLARK SMITH. On September 21, 1943, she married Donald HASKINS, who survives. Mrs. Haskins was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rushford, a member and secretary of its Women's Society of Christian Service. She was a member and acting historian of the Rushford Chapter 545, Order of the Eastern Star; a charter member of the Rushford Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary; a former unit chairman, Allegany County chairman; 8th District Chairman and Allegany County treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 1504; and a member of the Passe Chapeau le Petit Salon, 8&40. Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Miss Audean HASKINS, at home; three sons, Lt. Dennis HASKINS, USMC, Quantico, Va., Signalman G3 Merle HASKINS, US Navy, Charleston, N.C., and Alfred HASKINS at home; two grandchildren; her mother of Rushford; two sisters, Mrs. Callie BUCHANON of Rushford and Mrs. Elizabeth CLAYSON of Cuba; two brothers, Tracy SMITH of Clarendon and Eddie SMITH of Franklinville. Funeral services are under the direction of the Cline Funeral Home, Rushford, and will be held in the Rushford United Methodist Church on October 13, 1973, with the Rev. Harold A. KNITTER, officiating. Memorial services will be held by the members of the Order of the Eastern Star. Burial will be in White Cemetery, Rushford. Memorials may be made to the Rushford Rescue Squad, the Rushford United Methodist Church or the Rushford Library. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
