HERMAN of 349 East State Street, Salamanca, a former Belfast resident, died Sunday morning, June 29, 1969, at Salamanca District Hospital after being admitted there Friday. She was born May 25, 1894, in Caneadea, a daughter of Christian and Caroline HERKE SWARTZ. On February 16, 1917, in Caneadea, she was married to William G. HERMAN, who died in 1964. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Dorothy HERMAN and Mrs. Charles (Marjorie) FRANKLIN, both of Salamanca; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. HERMAN was a member of the Belfast United Methodist Church and attended the First United Methodist Church of Salamanca. She was a member of the Belfast Women's Society of Christian Service; and for many years was organist for the Caneadea United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the Wolcott Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today and all day Tuesday. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday, July 2, 1969, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Richard P.
