IRWIN of Caneadea, died September 11, 1966, at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Caneadea, August 29, 1893, a daughter of Ashley and Ella EDSON SCOTT. She taught school in many of the area school districts before her marriage to Wesley J. IRWIN. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters; Mrs. William (Bernice) SANDFORD of Hume, Mrs. Kirk (Esther) HAMPTON of Cuba; a sister, Mrs. Maude DUELL of Caneadea; a brother, Howard SCOTT, of Perry Center; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Wolcott Funeral Home in Belfast on September 15, 1966, with the Rev. Dwight MONTGOMERY, pastor of the Caneadea Methodist Church, officiating.
