LUCKEY , of Hume, died suddenly Monday, February 3, 1964 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital at Warsaw, New York. He was born November 16, 1915 in the Town of Granger, a son of William and Mary BENTLEY LUCKEY. He was a veteran of World War II. He had been a mechanic at the Hume Garage for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Short Tract Methodist Church and of the Genesee Valley Rifle Club. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Avis TRAVIS LUCKEY; a step-daughter, Mrs. Howard EVANS, Fillmore, a step-son, Airman 2-c William HENRY, of Wertsmith Air Force Base, Oscoda, Michigan, a sister, Mrs. Merle CASE, Angelica; a brother, Roosevelt LUCKEY, Bradenton, Fla. Valgeane C. LUCKEY Friends may call at the family residence in Hume. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 1964, at the home at 1:20 p.m. followed by funeral services at the Short Tract Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. J. Whitney SHEA, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore. Military services at the grave by the Dee Victor Thomas Post, American Legion. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
