LAFFERTY, formerly of Fillmore, died Tuesday, April 9, 1968, at Helmuth. He was born June 23, 1908, at Rush Creek, a son of Homer and Cora AUSTIN LAFFERTY. He married the former Fern MACK, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Carlton LAFFERTY of Perry, SGT. Joel LAFFERTY, serving with the Air Force at Wilmington, N. C., Edwin LAFFERTY, Leland LAFFERTY Jr., and Ray LAFFERTY, and two daughters, Dawn LAFFERTY and Della LAFFERTY, all at home; three brothers, Leo LAFFERTY of Cuba, Reuben LAFFERTY of Belfast and Earl LAFFERTY of Ellicottville; a sister, Mrs. Millard (Rita) LUCE, of Caneadea; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral and committal services will be held from the Kopler Funeral Home, Fillmore, on April 12, 1968. The Rev. Dwight Kenyon of the Belfast Baptist Church, will officiate.
