HOWDEN of Genesee Street, Fillmore, died October 13, 1972, at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in New York State, August 28, 1890, a daughter of Thomas and Jennie WHITNEY CULVER. She was the widow of Leon HOWDEN, who died January 10, 1972. Survivors include two sons, Erwin HOWDEN of Rossburg and Wendell HOWDEN of Rochester; a daughter, Mrs. Merlon (Virginia) BENTLEY of Friendship; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at the Kopler Funeral Home, Fillmore on October 15, 1972, with the Rev. Burdette C. FULLER, pastor of the Fillmore United Methodist Church, officiating.
