After the death of her husband, Wm. HERDMAN, she had lived alone. A brother, Edward RUTHERFORD, of Belfast died in 1935. Mrs. HERDMAN was a teacher in various Western New York schools for many years and at one time was principal of the Salamanca High School. Funeral services were held in the Angelica Methodist Church with interment in the Angelica Cemetery. [Northern Allegany Observer obituary, transcribed by Louise Y.
