LAFFERTY Theron H. LAFFERTY, of 185 Olive Street, Bolivar, died December 5, 1970, in the Cuba Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Born November 1, 1893, in Rushford, he is a son of Dorr and Persie FOSTER LAFFERTY. On September 30, 1915, he married the former Hester VREELAND, who survives. He had been a resident of Bolivar since 1937. In addition to his widow, Mr. LAFFERTY is survived by a son, Alfred LAFFERTY, of Coryville, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret INGALLS and Mrs. Beatrice PILON, both of Bolivar, and Mrs. Gerald (Edna) BUCHER of Youngstown, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Laura JOHNSON of Limestone and Mrs. George RAMSEY of Cuba; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. LAFFERTY was a member of the Arcade United Methodist Church; Bolivar Fire Department; and the Alma Rod and Gun Club. Funeral services will be held at the Schaffner Funeral Home, Bolivar, on December 8, 1970, with the Rev. William HORNE, pastor of the Bolivar United Methodist Church, officiating.
