Yes, I have Ross and Grace in those years also. On the 1930 census, Ruth is on the same image page as Grace and Ross, but living in a nearby dwelling and family and working as a dental assistant. Also, in 1930 Census, his sister, now remarried is living in Rochester, remarried to Oscar Barton (Katherine) and her daughter Betty Bush. I think he was living into the 1960's as he appears in a photo at my grandmother, his sister's (Katherine) funeral. I loose the trail thereafter. True, Sarah (Dorchester) Fisher, who died the year daughter Sarah was born, was Lt John Fisher's first marriage. Baby girl first was cared for by mother Sarah's brother and wife, in the next Census she is cared for by Father John's sister, Katherine Van Slyck. The 1900 census lists birth months, so Grace was born in Sept. 1879 and Ross (listed as Fischer) in April 1881. They are living next door to Ross's family: John Fisher (Mar. 1832), Florence (Dec.1851) and Catherine (Oct. 1888). The Minard history of Allegany gives another child of John Fisher as Sarah (Mrs. George Castiday of Lincoln Nebraska in 1896). I tried to locate a 9-month-old Grace for you in 1880, but I guess she wasn't in Allegany County at that early date. The only Grace born in Sept. 1879 (and living in Allegany County in 1880) was Grace Smith, but she is still listed as single with her father Judson in 1900.
