(spouse Blance Redman), son Alton Duncan Steadman (1894-1968) (spouse Edna Marriott, children Vera Steadman-Kopler (1917-2010), Vesta Steadman-Rice (1919-2004) and Elwyn Steadman (1923-2008)), son Clarence Steadman (1900-1970) (spouse Eleanor Griggs, children Wilma Steadman, Ruth Steadman, Dorthea Steadman, Majorie Steadman), and daughter Aileen Steadman (1904-1955) (spouse Allen W Case). They moved to Ohio and had a daughter Mary Elizabeth Baldwin born in Ohio who married a Abram Borden. I have Hayes in our family but on another side. There was a Sarah Ross from Almond, NY who married a Bell. Her family had Hayes but I have not found them as of yet. There is a wright in my family line. Sylvanus Wright married Desire Hayes( Desire is a sister to my gg grandmother Sarah Hayes). Sarah Hayes my gg grandmother married Joseph Baldwin and one of their daughters married a Milo Cody. I am interested in info that you have. Darius Cody married Lucinda Hayes and they moved to Wisconsin and ohio and eventually Nebraska. Lucinda Hayes is a sister to both Sarah and desire Hayes. I believe you and I may have a family connection. Sarah hayes Baldwin lived in Allegany, New york and so did Desire and Lucinda Hayes. Their father benajah Hayes also lived in Allegany, new York and he moved to Ohio in 1840. Benajah Hayes also had a son named Benajah Truman Hayes. Based on weekly and monthly reports I get from the search engines.. There are best results to obtain: The BEST Results?? Be mindful - all lists are always "SURNAME, given name" Three best ways with QUOTEMARKS " 1. "Surname, " (put a space after , then ") 2. "Surname, given name" (don't bother to try for middle name (middle names produce poor results) 3. ", Mary" - will work if you are not sure of married name but will produce a LOT of results! 1. Don't bother trying without quotemarks, you get more unwamted results. 2. Don't try county name, just go to the county list and you get more results there. 3. Don't try state name, just go to the state in question and browse. 4. Don't try these words - probate, guardianship, etc. Just go to appropriate sections. The Baldwin I do show is Milo Baldwin b. 3/22/1818 CT and he married our Rosetta Wright b. 2/26/1816 NY. They had four children and all were born in Ohio where they moved to after their marriage. Three were boys and one was a girl Mary Elizabeth Baldwin b. 7/3/1840 Ohio and died 12/3/1918 unknown where. Milo remarried, his second wife being Johanna Taylor. They had five children. She died and he married Amy Lafferty Moor who brought three children to the marriage. Milo died in WI where he and his second wife. Does this help you?
