His mother was Sara ?, father was Austin D. Kemp. Sara ? was born in NY but her father was born in IL. They lived in Bradford, PA in 1920 at which time it looks like his parents married but by 1925 his father was remarried so I don't know if Sara and Theodore moved or possibly died. Looking for Theodore's whereabouts plus looking for Sara's maiden name and her whereabouts. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. We lived at the top of the hill on Klein Road just outside Short Tract, Allegany Co., NY (near Fillmore). The fire, which was electrical, burned the barn to the ground, killing many animals and destroying farm equipment. There was a large fire department response. I was 8 years old and we have long since moved away. I am interested in having some official public documentation of the fire for my family's geneaology records. (I'm out of the area, so at this point I have to do the research remotely/online) Any help or tips are appreciated. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I, too, am interested in Bela Kaple and his wife Dolly. I found on the web a bible record that indicates that her surname was Johnson, not Mosher, so I am very interested in the grave record for her that you have. Does the grave actually say her maiden name was Mosher or is she just buried in a Mosher lot? I have a Dolly Johnson, dau. of Richard and Rachel (Ide) Johnson, originally from R.I., but who settled in Columbia County, NY, in the late 1770s. In his will dated 1817 Richard left a legacy to the children of his daughter Dolly Kaples, deceased. A death date for Dolly of 1814 fits well with this. Also her birthdate from the Kapel-Bailey bible of 20 Feb. 1779 fits nicely in Richard Johnson's family. Bela's birthdate from the bible is 3 Oct. 1774. If you can shed any light on this, I would love to hear from you. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. His Father-in-law was Henry Mayer and his other in-laws were the Mayer/Myers living in Granger. His wife Mary Mayer was born in PA 1803. I have not been able to locate any birth certificates or burial information for these people so I can not get information on their parents.
