Its interesting how people find things. In this case how you found my message. If I understand you message correctly, you want some info on Ruben C. Fosbury's parents. This is what I have, starting with Ruben. Ruben C. Fosbury, born 1807 and died 1890. He was married to Frances Johnson, which you obviously confirmed. Ruben's parents are: - Stephen Fosbury (born 1783, died 1850) - Betsy Conant (born ?, Died 1847) Besides Ruben, the info that I have says that Stephen and Betsy had another son, James ... James Conant Fosbury (born 1809, died 1872) - married to Lomanda M Jones - second wife Hulda James and Lomanda are my Great Great grandparents I just noticed that there is another Ruben Fosbury, born in 1841. He is not to be confused with the Ruben and Frances that you mentioned. This second Ruben is a son of James and Lomanda. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hello, I'm seeking assistance on learning more about Seward Hassan Vose, born in 1819 in New York State. His father may have been from Canada and had a French version of the surname. Seward married Angeline Phillips, born in 1819, marriage date and location unknown. Their children were Timothy Delorus, born in Allegany Co., Giles born in 1859, Emaline born in Belmont in 1855, Cordelia and Sylvia. Timothy enlisted in the Civil War at Amity. The family went down the Erie Canal to Brown Co., WI around 1863 and then remained in Wisconsin. Thank you for any assistance or advice on learning more about this family. Carol S.
