Does anyone know who this Elzer BABCOCK was? I am also interested in his sister, Mrs. Lucy MASON. I have BABCOCK / WORDEN / WHITING families that were in Yorkshire, Cattaraugus Co, NY ca 1850 and later. One of the Worden's married into a MASON family in West Virginia ca 1880... am wondering if there is a possible connection here.
