My great grandfather was Adelbert Lounsberry. He was born in Allegany County NY in 1853 or 1855. He married Sarah Catherine Watson of Will County, IL. Adelbert's parents were William Lounsberry and Cynthia Hosking. Cynthia was born in Belfast, NY in 1932. Does anybody have any additional information about these people? I will be visiting Allegany County on June 5 and 6, 2003. Any ideas of what locations to visit to conduct searches? Thank you for your help! Scott Gerard

Would anyone happen to know where I would be able to find microfilm for the "Allegany Republican" newspaper which was published 1826 - 18xx in Angelica, N.Y.? I know that the New York Newspaper Project (http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/nysnp/102.htm) has it on microfilm, but I am looking for a different source that would also have it.
