They had three sons Ephriam, Harvey and Solomon. And maybe a daughter. According to Solomon's Civil War discharge, they would have died possibly between 1875-80.
Where can I get copies of obituaries for Andrew Gall born August 31, 1915 and died Feb. 24, 1982. He lived near Caneadea, NY. Thanks in advance Connie Williams waffles@bwkip.com

There were but a few VanGUilders in the area and all I have located appeared to be connected to mine. It is unusual to see that spelling in and around Allegany. I need to know the time fram , but saw when I came back to post it is about 1920. Most of mine ended up in Michigan. However, one brother came back to Granger, allegany and had two boys, Bert and Frank V VanGuilder. I Have not researched back to see where they went off to. Both would be about 50-60 in 1920. I also have an Uncle to the above, Coleman Van Guilder unaccounted for from 1850 at age 8 until his death about 1898. All three could have married and had children by 1900-1920. None are my direct line, so my info is a little sketchy. Ley @ CasheLey@hotmail.com

Mrs. Orrin WETHERBY, aged 64, died of apoplexy just before midnight last night at her home on the Genesee road. Mrs. WETHERBY had been in poor health for several months. Tuesday morning she arose as usual and prepared the breakfast for the family. Coming down stairs, she stood in front of the stove and suddenly threw her hands to her forehead, saying, "O, my head." These were the last words she ever uttered. Mr. WETHERBY who was in the rocking chair caught her as she was falling to the floor, and placed her on a couch. A physician hurried to the house but she never rallied, lying in an unconscious state until the heart ceased to beat. Mrs. WETHERBY was born at Newfield, N. Y.; and she would have been 65 years old had she lived until March 3. She was united in marriage to Mr. WETHERBY in Scio and had resided in the town of Bolivar 50 years. To them were born twelve children, ten of whom survive. They are Walter D., of Huntington, Ind., Norman G., of Richburg, Eugene W., of Allentown, Homer D., Harlie and Frank of Bolivar, Mrs. Olin HANCHETT of Portville, Mrs. Nellie COYLE of Richburg, Mrs. Edward EMERSON and Miss Hattie WETHERBY of Bolivar. Mrs. WETHERBY was a kindly woman, a good neighbor and a steadfast friend. Coming to this county when it was practically new, she did her part in raising a pioneer family and was ever a good wife and mother. Her sudden death was a great shock to the family and to a wide circle of friends. Funeral services will be held at the house at one o'clock, Saturday afternoon. The burial will be at the Bolivar cemetery. The aged husband and family have the sympathy of the community in their sorrow."
