    1. [NYAllega] scrapbook Forrest Canfield death 1915
    2. Forrest Canfield at the age of 29 years and nine months died Sat evening at 630 after a prolonged illness. At the very prime of life this takes another face from our midst that we have loved to see for it spoke for itself of that force of character cleaness of life and most kind and genourous dipostion we have known as the qualifers of Forest Canfields life. He was the son of Frank Canfield and Florence McComber born in the town of Ward 25 Feb 1887.Since the death of his father several years ago Forrest has been the main strength for his motherThey moved to Evander Hyde farm where they made their residence.Forrest will leave a large empty space in the church circle as well as in the hearts of all the members for he was among the most faithful workers in the Seventh Day Adventist church at Nile.As a member of the band in which he played the trombone he will always be remembered by all as one always there when sickness did not prevent. To the broken hearted mother ,brother, Lyle sister Melva and all relatives and friends who sit in sorrow where his footsteps shall never again echo we extend our sympathy. The services under the direction of Rev J F Derr and Rev L A Davis were held at noon Tuesday Nov 30th at the home.Burial at Scio.
