I even believe that I have a picture of him and his wife. However, I don't know if the time is right. I'll have to check my files and see what I have on him. I do know that he was born in PA, I think in the Emporium area. I'll let you know what I find.

Aiken, Cudding Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BUB.2ACI/6300 Message Board Post: I am looking for information about Jasper Johnson (1859-1929) and Jennie Akin (or Aiken). Jasper and Jennie were supposedly married, but I cannot find any record of her, other than a mention in his 1929 obituary (in the "Bolivar Breeze"). He is buried in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Bolivar, and there is an empty grave next to him where she was supposed to be buried. I would like to know if they were actually married, if they had any children, and what became of her after he died. Jasper was the brother of Kate Johnson Cudding and the son of William Cudding and Jane Vanderwater Johnson.

My maternal grandmother was Frances Luella Morrison, born in southern Allegany county to Mary Jane Sprague and a David "Monroe" Morrison circa 1871. We know very little about Mr. Morrison. He and Mary Jane were probably not married and the story passed down to me was that "he got her pregnant and then took off." Nevertheless, they reunited in their later years and the last I know of him was that he was still living (in northern PA) in 1922. Is it possible you might have something on him in your research? Thanks very much for your offer of photos, too. I had not yet thought of the "Munroe" spelling. That may help me find out more about him. Ann
