I can scan the page I suppose as a message attachment here, or let me know how to email you and I can send the page to you direct. So Duane's first wife was not Olive, but the sister of Melissa Chapman, Warren Kenyon's second wife. Thus I am still looking for the husband of Olive Kenyon, who is listed as Olive Gray, married, in the 1865 census. Warren had 3 sisters, with the third one being Damarius. She was married to Benjamin Gorton who died during the civil war, and later married William L. Jones. Thankful Kenyon married James M. Coats who also died in the civil war, and she was my direct ancestor. Her parents were Nathan Kenyon and Nancy Hall. I have been researching all of the siblings of Thankful trying to track back on Nathan/Nancy. I have been in contact with a descendant of Warren Kenyon, and there are links to Gray in there, some of which remain unknown. There was a Theron Gray who married Mary F. Kenyon's sister Emma, but have not placed him yet either. Their brother George married Elizabeth F. Gray, but again, I don't know the tie. Solomon Farr died March 14, 1909 at age 63 children were listed as: Mrs. Mattie Clark of Texas Mrs. Elizabeth Emory of PA. George Farr of PA. Brothers: Sylvester Farr of PA. Samuel Farr of Garwoods, NY Sisters: Mrs. Anna Roberts of Livonia Center, NY Mrs. Laura Haggerty of Livonia Center, NY Mrs. Helen Sutton of Grove, NY 1882 - Mrs. S A Farr of Canaseraga, NY married Henry Nichols of Grove, NY. I was wondering if you knew to whom Solomon was married? It would be of great help because it was stated that Solomon's wife was the sister of Mrs. Josiah Spike (Angeline), and I have been researching this family line. There maybe another family connection because Sally Spike married Ephraim Phelps son of Silas Phelps and Amytis Cone.(maybe related to Fidelia?) Any information would be helpful. Gray were William L. Gray and Abbey. Amasa is listed on the Town Clerk report of Officers, Soldiers, and Seamen for the Town of Wellsville, Allegany County, NY, page 6 that was done for each NY town after the Civil War. Abbey's last name is listed, but my copy is not too good. Looks something like "Porch". Just below Amasa is listed his son Duane L. Gray, also of Wellsville. Amasa's birth is listed as 18 Apr 1825, Monroe NY. Duane is 17 Jun 1845, Monroe, NY. It lists county but I can't read it. I am not knowingly related to Amasa, but am searching for husband of Olive Kenyon, who may have been first wife of Duane. Duane, in 1920, lists his status as M2 for marriage, while wife Mary shows M1. I think that this Mary may be a Mary Kenyon, and possible niece of Olive.
