Searching for parents of Julia Stevens who was born abt 1799, perhaps in PA census states PA and same is erased. She married abt 1821 as his second wife, William Lewis, who was born Rensselaer Co, NY 1778 and died 1842 in Caneadea, Allegany Co, NY. Julia died abt 1873 - marked on her tombstone in Mount Pleasant Cemetery,town of Caneadea, Allegany Co, NY. Born to this family were: Elmina Abigail Lewis in 1822 Jane in 1830 Luna in 1832 Lester in 1834 Edna in 1837 Edgar in 1840 (my great grandfather) If you have any information on this Stevens family, please contact me at [email protected]

Organized Dec 30, 1827. Other members are Martha and Roxy Messenger. Richburg is in the town of Wirt. PAGES 862 THROUGH 863 In 1858 mentions Martha Messenger daughter of Luther Messenger married to James F. McGibeny son of David McGibney. Luther Messenger dame from Scott to Wirt in 1824 and settled on the place now owend by James F. McGibeny. He married Zilpha Morgan, their children were Martha, Joseph, Mary. She lived in Amity, Allegany Co, NY in 1830 and was married to Hezekiah Wadsworth born 1759. Her birthdate was 1758. I believe she is listed in the 1830 census for Hezekiah Wadsworth as her age would agree with the one female listed in the census info. She died that year. Hezekiah later moved to Harborcreek PA and is buried there but she is not buried there. I would like information if it is available. I have found reference to a Mary A. Wadsworth but no date.
