    1. [NYALBANY] Campbell House in Schenectady

    3. I am seeking a date for buildings constructed by Daniel David Campbell (1803-1892) of Schenectady, NY. This is a research question of particular interest to Campbell family genealogists. I am seeking any documentation of when Daniel David Campbell (1803-1892) constructed buildings at 19 - 23 Washington Avenue, Stockade District, Schenectady, NY. The buildings went up after 1819 (date of a city-wide fire) and before 1844 (buildings are referred to in a will of 1844). I have researched deeds, maps, wills, City of Schenectady assessment records, and the Campbell family records in Schenectady-area libraries to no avail. The date I am seeking might be in a diary, journal, or manuscript in a private collection. Please reply off the list at librarian@schist.org.

    3. Do you know where your Campbells emigrated from? or if they are related to any of the Campbells in Troy? Mine are from Co. Armagh in Ireland. One of their sons is named, Daniel, which is why I asked, since it is a fairly common name but do know that they keep first names going generation to generation.
