I've been trying to trace the Russell Asa Allen line, to see if there's a connection with my Allen line. Just wondering if you made any progress. Question. You list your lineage from Russell's son Asa, to Alva, to Edwin. I didn't know Alva had a son Edwin. Isn't Edwin Alva's brother? FYI: As I understand it, Lydia's 2nd husband was Augustus Demmon. Augustus's son from his first marriage, Charles, married Russell & Lydia's daughter Lucy. Lucy's grandaughter Bertha married Herbert Allen, whose grandparents were Alfred & Rachel, another Allen line I'm trying to trace.
