My GGrandfather, Joseph Isaac Lamore, b-1861. birthplace unknown. Had this family in Calumet, Michigan. With very simily names to this 1880 USFC in Ausable, Clinton New York. Family?? My Grandfather was named William Alfred Lamore. Had brothers named Joseph, Frank, Albert and a sister Delia and His wifes name was Melina, Minnie, Mini. And yes as my Grandfather was growing up, they called him Willie. And another Odd thing is that. In 1897, My Grandmother died at the age of 26. So her four children were split up. Joseph an Willie went to live with Lalonde relitives, Delia went to a Catholic Orfanige, And later I find these Children grown up spelling the Lamore name Different as Lamoore, Lamorre, Lamorie, Lamora, And on their Merriage license. They say their father name was Frank, When it was sapossed to be Joseph Lamore. Was my Joseph Lamore b-1861 Hiding his Identy?? Did he have another family going on at the same time in Michigan. I wo! nder.I see this Lamore family in Clinton New York 1880 USFC changing there names Too?? From censes to censes?? So I need to Know if this brother of Maggie, Joseph, What was his middle name.
