She was born in NY, the obit does not mention her maiden name. Also, found Delia Lamore's marriage to Richard Harry. >From Houghton County Migenweb site: 1904 Feb 14- MARRIAGE LICENSES ISSUED BY HOUGHTON COUNTY CLERK Richard HARRY and Delia LAMORE of Redridge DAILY MINING GAZETTE, HOUGHTON, MICHIGAN 1906 June 12 Tuesday- DIED- Mrs Joseph LAMORE, aged about 63 years, died at her home in Calumet Sunday night of a heart attack. She was born in Utica, New York and came to the copper country 25 years ago. She is survived by seven children- Mrs John C. MCCOIG of Chatham, Ontario, Canada; John; Walter; Charles; Bert; Will and Mary LAMORE. The funeral will be tomorrow morning from Sacred Heart Church, Calumet. Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery, Calumet. >From this you can see she was born in Utica, Oneida County, NY ca 1843, if age is correct for Mrs. Joseph Lamore. In the 1880 Census the children that are mentioned are these ages, some may have been using other names (middle names) or been born after 1880 Census, and since the 1890 Census was lost in a fire you may not find out.
