It has alot of information on men who served in the Civil War and alot of the listings in the book has a picture or portrait of the individual they are talking about. The book I am afraid is not complete, because someone in the past cut alot of pages out of it for a unknown reason. I have a very good portrait of Ephraim Elmer Ellsworth and a partial biography of him as well. If anyone is interested in this I am willing to share.
