She may have come from the eastern end of the state.Eventually she migrated to Canal Township,Venango Co. PA.There she married William(Doc)Whitman in the mid-1850s.An older woman,Anna Eaton lived nearby in Fairfield Township,Crawford Co. PA.Anna was born in New York also.The two women could have been related.I'm at a brickwall here.
