    2. First of all, Cohoes is a City. I don't know if they ever got around to appointing a new Historian. Write to Mayor John McDonald at City Hall. Death certificates sometimes give parents name, but not always. You might get the father's name, but the mother's maiden name is rarer for a death certificate. Obviously the people who would know are long dead. What religion were they? Where are they buried? Husband is most likely with wife.
