My Wiliam Simpson lived in Albany for a while but moved to Colonie. He came here about 1873 with wife Janet and 3 children, one more son was born here. He was a widow by 1880. Married my grandma Rose (Mccabe)about 1880-82. Rose died 1887. William never remarried. His parents were William & Agnes (Clint) Simpson. I don't know if they were in this country or not. But I think Roses's parents were and I am sure there were siblings. I haven't had any luck with finding anyone else. Three of my Simpsons were orignally buried in St Mary's then moved to St Agnes. So no connection here. How were you able to get the death notices/obits you mention? I would like to see if I can find Janets and Roses notices in the paper.
