The personal information on the death certificate (what there is of it) was provided by the undertaker. He was 47 years of age and employed as a deckhand on a tug boat. His residential address was that of his mother in Johnstown PA. It appears he died suddenly (from cerebral and diabetic causes) or was found in a coma and died shortly thereafter at the hospital. An autopsy was done, and his body was sent back to Johnstown PA for burial. Would anyone be able to check to see if there was an obituary or an article / blurb in an Albany paper about the death of my grandmother's uncle? If found, copying & mailing costs will be reimbursed.
