    3. Hello Albany researchers, Here are some obits on the Worden, Van Denburgh & Bramhall families, that I have collected together that were born in Cohoes, Albany County, NY. Obit of Abraham Lincoln BRAMHALL Wednesday April 1, 1931 Utica Daily Press Page number not legible Column 6 A. L. BRAMHALL, (my note aka Abraham Lincoln Bramhall) A. L. Bramhall, 45, 1100 Kellogg Avenue died at his home yesterday after a brief illness. Heart disease caused his death. He was born in Cohoes, April 14, 1865, and came to Utica from New Brunswick, N.J., in 1909. He married Rena G. Van Denburgh at Cohoes in 1889 (?) (print not clear). Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Erminie Bramhall Burlingame, Utica: three brothers, William San Jose, Calif.; John Seattle, Wash.; and James Bramhall, Cohoes, and a sister, Mrs. William Lewis, Round Lake. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obit of Nancy ELVIRA (Worden) Van Denburgh Census data says b. Aug. 1846 Waterville Times Thursday March 3, 1932 page 7 Column 6 Nancy Elvira (Worden) Van Denburgh Nancy Elvira Van Denburgh, mother of Mrs. Rena G. Bramhall died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Erminie Bramhall Burlingame, Tower St., at 12:15 Wednesday morning. Mrs. Van Denburgh was born in Cohoes and went to Utica in 1913 where she resided until the death of her son-in-law, A. Lincoln Bramhall in March last year. She is survived by her daughter and granddaughter with whom she lived; one sister, Mrs. John MacNiven, Worcester, Mass; one granddaughter and 4 grandsons of Cohoes, also 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at her home, 405 Tower street, Saturday afternoon a 2 o'clock. October 4, 1945 Page 5, Column 5 top of page Mrs. Rena Bramhall Rena Vandenburgh, wife of the late A. lincoln Bramhall, died in a nursing home in Bridgewater October 3, 1945 following a lenthy illness. She was born in Cohoes, N. Y. and resided in Utica for several years. She was a former member of the Cohoes Philharmonic Society and a member of Centenary M. E. Church of Utica. For the past 14 years she made her home in Waterville. She is survived by one daughter Erminie B., wife of Clayton E. Burlingame; two grandsons, Lt. Elmo L. Burlingame stationed in Cardiff, Wales, and P.F.C. Eldon W. Burlingame stationed in Naples, Italy; also one granddaughter, Elvira E. Burlingame of Waterville. Burlingame of 33 Bayberry Lane, Whitesboro, formerly of Waterville, died on June 14 (1966) in Faxton Hospital. She was born in Cohoes, a daughter of Rena Van Denburgh Bramhall. She came to Utica in 1909. She was married to Clayton E. Bulingame in 1917. The couple moved to Waterville in 1931 and to Whitesboro last year (1965). Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Gene E. (Elvira) Purcell and 2 sons, Elmo L. and El Don (Eldon) W. (Burlingame) all of New Hartford. The funeral will be a nonn Friday from Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. H. E. Hudson, Church of the Reconciliation, pastor, officiating.
