I found him in 1810 census in Milford, Otsego county, NY just west of Albany. He then seems to have gone to Ohio. Maybe a closer check of that area will find other family mebers either who travelled with him or lived nearby. a little history may help. references to Dutchess County, NY area indicates a migration pattern from Kent, CT to Amenia, NY then north to Albany and west. I found several families that did this. Also checked Pittsfield, MA Corbin Collection for the family but only found John the supposed grandfather. Possibly a history of Monroe Ohio or Milford, NY may lend some clues. Will continue looking for Ebenezer closeby to see if anything turns up. The date of birth fits with marriage of Ebenezer.
