Notes from the Newspapers Albany NY Nov 30th 1868 "The burial vault on the west side of Swan Street, north of Washington Street, which was built about the begining of the present century, and occupied by the Lush and Gansevoort families, was being demolished. Here the bones of De Witt Clinton reposed for many years. A dwelling was to be erected upon its site by B.P. Learned"
