I don't have access to my notes right now, but I think I finally decided Mary Burton is a cousin, not a sister, of my Sarah Burton. There is a connection though, because Sarah named her daughter Susan Hooghkirk Lucas born Oct. 18, 1810 Albany. Sarah's parents were Josiah Burton and Susannah Winans/Wynans both born in Connecticut, but later of Dutchess Co., NY and I have a list of their children and who they married.
