The lady who asked for this lookup did not receive it because she asked on the message board, and the answers were on the mailing list. I just went to the message board to check. Our messages were not there. When you respond to a gateway message, a copy goes to the mailing list and another supposedly to the message board. The message board never posts the one it receives (or else it rejects them all). The gateway system doesn't make sense to me. The lady did get her answer, but not a very good one. She was given a link to a site that has the book in digital form. However, converting images of book pages to regular text can create a lot of errors, especially on that site. Names are often misspelled and dates can be wrong. I have been trying to solve my Marcellus/Marselis/Misselles line for years and decided to copy all information on this surname to be found where ever it can be found and see if there is information to work with. Of course I have found much duplication of information that was copied word for word from another source, but at least I know who my Ahasueras Marcellus was not. But I still have to find out who he was. > >Important Note: >The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Cliff, I am all thumbs when it comes to computers. How do I make sure that my replies are posted on the message board as well as to the mailing list? Thanks for your help. Leslie
