An article on the history of Berne was published in the Knowersville Enterprise (forerunner to the Altamont Enterprise) on 20 Sept. 1884. It says "*Grippy and Irish Hill occupy the center" *of the Town. Can anyone tell me where Grippy Hill is and why it is called that?
