I have found that a father and son both lived in Albany, both named John Montignani. The younger was a Lawyer and had his own law firm. He wrote several state of NY archived articles and books on "Insanity" which are available. He also owned much Real Estate near or on Lake George. His father came from Scotland where in the early 1800s his family had moved from Italy. I suspect he would be listed in a Presbyterian church roster (probably a Scots-Presbyterian church.)
