I have been searching for the birth/baptismal record of my grandmother for years without success. I lack the exact year of her birth/baptism and am hopeful the baptismal record might reveal the maiden name of her mother. I have utilized all of the conventional methods - internet genealogy groups, proprietary genealogy searches, the Albany City and County Clerks Offices and the Mormon LDS Family History Center without success. Both parents were listed as immigrants from Ireland in the U.S. and New York State census reports The ancestor I seek is Ellen (Helen) Celelia Denn born April 1865, 1866 or 1867 - (based upon ages given on different census records and her marriage record). I believe 1866 to be the most probable year and have been informed that St Joseph's Church may have been the parish her family attended. Her parents were William Denn died 1/5/1906 and Mary ------? Denn died Albany 8/13/1880 Any assistance you might be able to render would be deeply appreciated. Frank
