I was asked to create a webpage that included the 1915 newspaper article about ice harvesting that I had recently sent to this mailing list. The article is only a very small part of the webpage. Using 12 photos about a century old, I describe the process of ice harvesting along the Hudson River fairly completely. It is a subject that has fascinated me for over 30 years, so I welcomed the opportunity to learn more about the topic.
