I have a family branch member who seems to have passed away in West Troy, Albany in 1874. I believe NYS archives only has death certs from 1880 forward so I tried finding him in NYC as he married in1862 Brooklyn to no avail. He is missing shortly thereafter and probably settled in upstate after the Civil War where he was in the Union Army. The attached sniplet has him passing in Albany. That's all I have. I would appeciate any help with family or cemetery info or registers of life events for this family. If I can reciprocate for anyone in NYC Archives, feel free to ask and I will do my best to accomodate. Thanks for any/all info........ Robert C. Hope you have had an enjoyable (and not too cold) Christmas. I have had a couple of days to myself of late and have been going through Google Books to see what I could find on various Oakmans.
