Pat - Thanks for the offer. Looking for TAYLOR and SULLIVAN. And with common names like that it's hard to pinpoint anyone. Both families cames to the US in the 1830s, I think. No clue as to where in Ireland they camne from, so any help is appreciated. These records have been closed to the public until very recently. Since there are a number of emigrants from this parish that settled in Troy, if you send me your surnames, I will gladly get the info if it exists. Records start 1810 and go to 1880 with about a 6 month gap from Oct 1838 to beginning of 1839. All I want is the surname, no other info as I will gather all info on the surname because you never know how they will fit in your family tree puzzle. Please post it to this list so it will be in the archives for searching. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

To Pat Connors: Dear Pat, I have read your emails for a couple of years now. I am searching for Kennedys, Patrick and Catherine, who possibly came from Tipperary in the early 1850s. Their daughter Mary Ann was born in 1853-4 in New York. Patrick must have died not long afterward because Catherine is in Chicago by 1860 with Mary Ann and married to a John Meagher (Maher.) Catherine's maiden name was Teefy(Teefey) and I believe she was from Bird Hill. Thanks for anything you might find. I have found that, too. One reason I was given was that the restricted one was either really old, or an only copy. In either case, it was not good to send it away. Judy L. If they were buried from St. Anne's Church (my boyhood parish), it is also possible the person was buried in OLHC Cemetery on Jolley (sic) Rd. in Glenmont. You can write to the Health Dept for a copy of the death certicate. It should say were she's buried. JTravis There is an Alice P. Ernie, please check my subsequent email. I am only doing the lookups if you know your ancestors are from the parish. If you know Shea, Hogan and Donovan are from there, let me know. These lookups are for only those who *know* their ancestors are from this parish. I should have mentioned that with my first message. Do you know where your Campbells emigrated from? or if they are related to any of the Campbells in Troy? Mine are from Co. Armagh in Ireland. One of their sons is named, Daniel, which is why I asked, since it is a fairly common name but do know that they keep first names going generation to generation. I am seeking a date for buildings constructed by Daniel David Campbell (1803-1892) of Schenectady, NY. This is a research question of particular interest to Campbell family genealogists. I am seeking any documentation of when Daniel David Campbell (1803-1892) constructed buildings at 19 - 23 Washington Avenue, Stockade District, Schenectady, NY. The buildings went up after 1819 (date of a city-wide fire) and before 1844 (buildings are referred to in a will of 1844). I have researched deeds, maps, wills, City of Schenectady assessment records, and the Campbell family records in Schenectady-area libraries to no avail. The date I am seeking might be in a diary, journal, or manuscript in a private collection. Please reply off the list at librarian@schist.org.
