She had at least one sister Mary Ryan who lived in Albany. She also had a sister who is listed as surviving in Delia's obit of 1935 as Mrs. Henry Powell of Watervliet.[ unsure if that is Mary- there was a Catherine Powell in Watervliet directory] Delia married James McNally of Albany NY in 1874 at St. Mary's church - Albany. They had eight children: William, James, Christopher, Mary, BridgetAnn, Francis, Elizabeth, and Katherine, who died as infant. MCNALLY Also looking for the family of Francis {Frank} McNally/ McAnally- James's father. Frank was naturalized in Albany NY at age 25 on 17 March 1975. His naturalization papers indicate he came from King county [I assume Kings Cty now called Offaly, Ireland] Frank married Catherine Healy- she had brother William Healy in Albany census. Frank worked for railroad and died on November 1891 during a railroad freight accident- he was crushed. I cannot find his burial place- listed as St. Mary's but he is not on card file for St. Mary's. Did find burial of his wife Catherine and son John at St. Agnes. Any information on these families greatly appreciated: especially birth place and confirmed birth date for Delia. Her death certificate apparently lists wrong information. Thank you Dara Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I was at the Albany library today and also checked the Knickerbocker News for Oct. 1-4,1960. The Times Union that John checked for you is the morning paper, the Knick was the afternoon paper at that time. I didn't find Henry Stoddard on that microfilm. October 2 was missing from the film, however, so there's always a chance he was listed on that date--if there's a copy somewhere.
