Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: Were there any other religious sisters, other than the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, in the Troy area in the 1880 time frame? Does anyone know how to locate their order in the census? I know they had an orphanage and probably a school. I am trying to find 2 relatives -Margaret Gleason b @1866 and her sister Harriet b @1875. They are not in the 1900 census. So they either died between 1880 and 1900, married or went into the convent. Since they are not in the family plot, they could be in a religious plot or married and in their spouses' plots. Sisters of St. Joseph's doesn't have either of them. Kathleen S.
