The death cert of my gr grandfather from Troy gave both his county of birth (Tipperary) and his parents full names and county of birth (Tipperary). He died in 1928. Also, his sister's death cert from Albany also gave the county in Ireland for both her and her parents (all Tipperary). Also gave full names. All agreed with her brother, my ggrandfather. I felt like I hit pay dirt and felt very lucky. Just a curiosity... wondering if anyone on the list has ever seen an > instance in a ca 1890-1920 (or any year for that matter) NYS marriage or > death certificate of a parent's origin in Ireland has ever been listed?
