I am trying to find out information about my 3rd great grandparents, John Emmerson and his wife Mary Burney / Berny / Burnett, and their first child, Mary T. Emmerson who was born around 1846 in Troy. I do not know if John and Mary were married in Ireland or if they met and married after coming to America. By 1850 the family had moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Any leads would be deeply appreciated. LW
