Hello Alison, It is not unusual to see conflicting birth dates/ ages. Many immigrants did not know their exact date of birth. Stone carvers made errors and Church records were hand written, easy to make a mistake, and sometimes easy to misread. If you are local, why not consider attending a meeting ?
