    3. Discussions at the last few TIGS meetings make it obvious that this valuable resource needs to be updated. TIGS has a great deal of folks who personally either own or have access to information that others are looking for. The "Irish Acts of Kindness List" consists of volunteers who have agreed to do look-ups from sources they own, subscribe to or have access to. The current list of over 70 resources is available to anyone who avails themselves to our website. The resources include but are not limited to the following categories: Church Records Cemetery Records Immigration Records City Directories Irish Resources School Records Local History Miscellaneous Other I know I have been contacted by several list members to correct an email address, update their resources, etc. Here is a sample of the layout and information this is displayed: Irish Passenger Lists, Brian Mitchell 1847-1871 Kristin Cooney-Ayotte [email protected] To view the current list go to the TIGS website http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nytigs, choose the RESOURCES link at the top of the page, scroll down to "Look Ups....". I am hoping on a lucky shamrock that many of the volunteers listed are still on the TIGS list. BUT I am also asking for ANYONE who has these resources to step up and volunteer to keep this valuable resource available. Rather than go back and make corrections to the original list, would everyone (including those already on the list) send me the name of your resource, the category it would fit into, dates the resource applies to and your current e-mail address, etc. PLEASE email me OFF LIST, in the subject line type "Irish Acts of Kindness". Since some list members are not on line as frequently as some of us, we will give it a month, with reminders. Then a new list will be compiled and our wonderful Webmaster, Jeanne, will be asked to remove the current and replace with the new as time permits. Looking forward to a barrage of e-mails. Thanks Kris Cooney-Ayotte
