You folks have been with us for the long run and your support is tremendous. Fortunately the dues have pretty much kept us from digging into our own pockets. Jeanne Keefe has found the sources to scan and copy and kept the website one of the best free genealogy websites on the net. Bill McGrath just keeps finding projects for the transcribers all over the US and beyond.... Thanks to members like Mary Lee who constantly contribute with information on the list, that is how we continue to be successful as a group. I think all the work the people in the Troy area do cannot possibly cover all their expenses and time. (I used to work for a non-profit, so know how easy it is to spend your own money). At least $20 a year, better yet $25. The knowledge base is building and building and for those of us who don't live near Troy, TIGS' web site with its databases and list-serv make progress much more attainable and new connections much more likely > > Mary Lee Dunn > > > > > > > > > >
