I have added today the naturalizations for Albany County NY for the years 1850, 1849 and 1848. As you might note, I had some naturalizations already online for 1850 but it wasn't for the full year since they were split between two films. I have now finished the first film and started the 2nd. I also added some that just said born in "Ireland" without designating a particular place in Ireland if the port they left in was given as a place in Ireland, like Cork, Galway, Limerick, Belfast, etc. These are good clues that your ancestor lived near one of these ports before emigrating. You can find them on the ALBANY COUNTY section of my website: http://www.connorsgenealogy.com/Albany/ If you have any questions, feel free to email me off or on the list. Oh, you may find some all in RED, that is because they are names associated with my family and it is to remind me to follow up on them in the censuses. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com
A sincere thankyou for sharing all the work you evidently did to provide these lists. While I did not find my family members on them, they nonetheless ruled out some places that might have been of help. Your efforts are appreciated and blessings upon you.
