    3. A couple of questions. it sounds like many records are possibly stored by Mr Hanley.does he keep these in his own home?? I don't understand why these are not being properly stored by the diocese and/or in a controlled or at least locked fireproof safe by a Church or Churches. No offense to Mr Hanley or any others but storing records in this way is usually how in so many years records are found in someones garage.  I'm wondering if perhaps TIGS could help organize a Albany catholic Audit of these records. It seems like no one knows where and in what condition so many of these records are stored. it would also be a great service if we could get the diocese to standardize hoe these records can be accessed. I've encountered prices ranging from $25.oo donation per family to something similar per family. meanwhile the Diocesan archivist has told me several times that parishes should NOT be asking for fees or a donations.  My main concern in asking about St Peter's was that I was told in a phone call that there were boxes of records. Not just students records but boxes of things in the Church basement.
